With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I thought I would show you guys how I made this DIY Silver Urn Pumpkin Centerpiece for Fall! It was quick and easy and inexpensive! And speaking of fall, don’t forget that it’s that time of year…you know what I’m talking about, PUMPKIN SHEET CAKE time of the year! This is one of our most loved recipes and trust me, it’s an absolute favorite for fall parties and Thanksgiving dinners. It is always — and I do mean ALWAYS — a hit!
Now back to our regularly scheduled program, which is how to make this DIY Silver Urn Pumpkin Centerpiece for Fall
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
–Fresh flowers: hydrangeas, eucalyptus, and fall colored roses
-Faux fillers (I bought some fall floral stems and faux flowers and feathers at the dollar store for fillers)
-a Silver urn or bowl. Here are a couple of options from Amazon. I love the set of three hammered bowls!
-Floral sponges
-a large Ceramic Pumpkin
Don’t forget your fall Anthropologie scented candle (pictured above) and some other cute little fall pumpkins as well for staging!

- Get all your greenery and everything you will need to make the centerpiece together.
2. Put the floral sponges in the bottom of the bowl.
3. Start with arranging the hydrangeas throughout the bowl. You will want to clip the stems and push them into the floral sponges like so…
4. Next up add in the eucalyptus.
5. Start sprinkling in the roses and fillers now. I like to use orange and yellow fillers and roses for fall.
6. Pour water on top of the sponges now.
7. Here is what the arrangement should look like (top view) before you put on the pumpkin.
8. Next up you set the pumpkin on top.
9. After you’ve added the pumpkin, you will see some blank spots that need more roses and fillers and hydrangeas. Add more of all of the flowers and greenery around the pumpkin until it looks nice and full.
