Sharing is caring!

Well apparently, our before and after pictures of the RV flip didn’t make it over from the old website.  This is totally fine BECAUSE…since those pictures were taken, Mike Miller ripped out the carpet and tile in the RV and put in engineered wood floors.  SO…we were due for some new pictures anyway.

If you are finding your way to our little corner of the world for the first time, let me sum up our RV flip for you.  We did not buy this RV.  Mike Miller’s dad bought it in 2006.  When we lost his dad unexpectedly to cancer, my husband started taking care of it and it became his baby.  We took it to some tailgates in Stillwater and he dreamed of taking it cross-country just like his dad did before him.  In 2013, we started talking seriously about taking it to Yellowstone.  Here is pretty much how that went…

“Let’s take the RV to Yellowstone,” said Mike Miller.

“I’m allergic to that much brown and feel like it’s a bad choice for me to spend three weeks straight in something that is 99.9% tan and brown.  Why don’t we liven it up a bit and do an RV flip and THEN we will go to Yellowstone?”

“I don’t know,” said Mike Miller.  “It sounds like a lot of work.”

“Oh just stop thinking and stop being so boring.  It will be so fun,” said C.C.

Next thing you know, Miller’s flip that RV.  I’m talking rip out the floors, paint every square inch of cabinets.  Replace the non-functioning chairs with an IKEA sleeper bed, add new hardware, put in engineered wood floors, get all new bedding, Mike Miller adds three new tv’s because that is what Mike Miller does, and we pretty much just pimp that RV.

So…there is no longer anymore tan or brown in the RV and without further ado, I give you MILLER’S FLIP THAT RV.  Here are the Before pictures…

And After…Now, THIS is an RV I’d like to take to Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, The Grand Canyon, Charleston, and well…pretty much anywhere in the continental United States.  Ps…I’m currently trying to talk Mike Miller into taking our kids out of school and traveling the US for 6 months straight.  Or even perhaps a year.  You only live once right?  PS – HOME IS WHEREVER MY BUNCH OF CRAZIES ARE.
