• My baby girl turned three this past weekend. I can hardly believe that it has already been three years ago that she came into this world. What a blessing she has been to our lives. I was one of those moms who never thought they wanted or needed a little girl. Give me sports, fights, and dirtiness anyday over drama, dress-up, and PMS’ing. That’s the way I thought. I always said I wanted

  • So here is our exciting news…..I am going to pick up our new puppy tonight! His name is NASH. He is 6 months old and he is SO perfect! I know what you are thinking….THAT WAS FAST! We just lost Jake on Sunday night. YES, it is fast. NO, no dog will EVER replace Jake in our hearts. And NO, we weren’t planning to get a new dog that fast, but it happened. I believe that all things ha

  • Here’s my “baby” boy ready to head out for his first day of school. He started the pre-K program at Jenks West this year so he will be going 5 days a week for 2 hours. He is loving it already and I got an email from his teacher saying that “Easton had a great first day!” And since I know all of you are wondering if you read my previous post about Meet The Teacher̷

  • Easton is my cuddler. He can never get enough “lovin’s from momma” as he calls it. This means snuggling and hugging. Anytime he wants to cuddle, he says, “Mom, I need some lovin’s.” Little did I know this term of endearment would have an ugly backfire this week when we went to Easton’s “Meet the Teacher” day at school. It started out early in t

  • OK, so the hood isn’t red but I thought this was pretty cute anyways. Here’s a few pics I snapped today of Emmy in her swimsuit cover-up. We have had swim lessons everyday for the past two weeks and she insists on wearing her hood everywhere we go when she is wearing her cover-up. I thought she looked pretty adorable with those curls coming out the sides of her “hood.” Is i

  • It cracks me up how my kids use the word COUSINS. They never use a referent such as “my cousins” or “the cousins.” It is always just COUSINS….because that word in and of itself is all that is required. Everytime they say it you can almost here the trumpets sounding. They LOVE their cousins. All that to say….COUSINS came to stay with us this weekend so my kids ha

  • Michael and I were having this discussion last night about Emmy getting “the shaft” because not only is she our middle child, she is also our least demanding child. She is so sweet and content to just go with the flow and play whatever Easton wants or do whatever is needing to be done for Cohen at the time. I have been wanting to get some special time with just her and today I got that

  • Easton and Emmy found cowboy boots in Easton’s closet and put them on. They were so cute, I had to take some pictures of them wearing their boots. They walked around ALL night wearing them and playing together. Also, I took a photography class from my dear friend Holly (check out her blog) and have been practicing with my camera. Hopefully you will notice that my pictures are getting better
