So I have to tell a funny story about this house before we start this home tour.  I follow a builder called CBC builds in Tulsa.  Pause to give a shout out to this builder for the amazing job he is doing with modernizing the Midtown area.  OK continuing on…I follow CBC builds on Instagram and was watching this gorgeous white brick house with black windows that he was building.  I was obsessed with it.

I’m going to skip around a little bit here but I promise I’ll bring it all back together.  Last July, I met a sweet new friend who had just moved here from California.  She told me she was moving to Midtown and they were waiting for their house to be finished.  Our daughters became friends.  We became friends; and the inevitable play date happened.  The first time I went to go pick my daughter up from Diana’s house I pulled up and was all – “WAIT A MINUTE!  YOU BOUGHT THE CBC HOUSE I’VE BEEN DROOLING OVER?”

Lucky me I finally got to take a little tour of the house I had been obsessed with and needless to say it did not disappoint and was just as gorgeous on the inside as it is on the outside.  So let me welcome you inside the Pape’s beautiful Midtown home.  Those navy cabinets; those herringbone wood floors; those white walls with the dark windows paired with the contrast of the rock fireplace and raw wood beams.  This house just speaks my language.

Thank you Jim & Diana and girls for sharing your beautiful home with us, and I know we are no California but Oklahoma sure is glad to have you guys!  I also want to make sure to give credit to Austin Bean for their involvement in this project as well as Woodstock cabinets.  Top notch job by everyone on this project!
