You are also going to see throughout this post that I am obsessed with copper. It is all the rage this holiday season and not only is it gorgeous for your Thanksgiving decor and tablescapes, but I’m going to carry it into the holidays by pairing it with leopard accents! I can’t wait to show you how that turns out on our Holiday Home Tour 2018 but for now, just trust me, copper is where it’s at — pillows, vases, votives, and more! For this tablescape in our dining room, I first placed a table runner down, followed by garland (you can use the magnolia garland from West Elm). Then I put copper votive candles inside of the gold terrariums from West Elm. You can garnish with pears and pinecones for Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving. For Christmas, you can do the exact same tablescape but garnish it with pomegranates and pinecones and there you have it — another Simple Way to Decorate for the Holidays from West Elm! Don’t forget to pick up the brass candleholders. They are must have! I have both the Metal Loop Candelabras and the Modern Brass candlesticks and I use them both all the time, especially for holiday decorating!
Don’t forget to pick up this Copper Basketweave Throw and while you are at it, grab some Fur Throws as well! As you will see, I use fur throws and chunky knit throws throughout my home including my dining room, living room, and master bedroom. It’s also nice to put a fur throw or chunky knit throw in your guest room for your guests!!!
Also, while you’re shopping for holiday must-haves, I absolutely love these faceted glass vases (pictured below) and cannot recommend enough that you pick some up for your Holiday decorating! I love how it looks filled with fresh or faux flowers with a scented candle lit. Don’t forget one of these large wooden angled trays. I am obsessed with mine, so much that I can’t decide whether I want to use it in my kitchen or my dining or my living room. I just keep moving it around because I want it in every room! West Elm has an amazing selection of wood trays that you should definitely check out for Simple Ways to Decorate for the Holidays from West Elm.

Last but not least, I wanted to show you guys how I transformed all of these items I’ve mentioned from West Elm, into a beautiful outdoor tablescape for Friendsgiving. I hope you guys can recreate some of these Simple Ways to Decorate for the Holidays from West Elm for your own holiday homes. Like I mentioned before, by buying some of these simple basics from West Elm like their Fur Throws, Magnolia Garland, Faceted terrariums, Copper Basketweave Throw, and Modern Brass Candlesticks, I was able to create a Friendsgiving Tablescape that can easily be transitioned into Christmas and even New Years as well! All you have to do is use the magnolia garland, candlesticks, faceted terrarium, copper votives, and blankets and pillows, then add in different seasonal items — pomegranates and pinecones and cranberries for Christmas, and silver and gold sparkly accents for New Years.

This magnolia garland is SO gorgeous and is such a great price point. I recommend you pick up two, or three, or maybe even four (I’m not telling Mike Miller how many I picked up. Let’s just keep that between you and me) and grab a magnolai wreath while you are at it too. These are holiday decor staples and I love West Elm’s magnolia garland with the touches of gold leaves interspersed throughout.
